2022 Wearable Art Gala

A couple of weeks ago, the very first piece in my “Get Your Rest” series was part of the silent auction at the 2022 Wearable Art Gala in support of all the great things happening at WACO Theater. I am still wrapping my head around that and am super honored because…the company she was in the midst of…whew. Heavy hitters. I wasn’t there but if we all pretend together it happened lol. So above…that’s me, Bey, and Jay. They’re clearly very happy I’m there. Theeeen…That’s me and Issa. She was really excited and I was like giiiirl calm down and take this pic lol. I love her. Our dresses were very similar. You can’t see my feathers. And theeeen… Quinta didn’t know I was there. Issa photobomb. I was too nervous to say hi. In all seriousness, I’m never missing something like this again. Thank you to Hasef, Richard Lawson, Tina Lawson, and all the good people that helped put this event together. Oh and my piece SOLD!!!:)…and thank you to that person!
